“ I’ve been baking bread for years and until I got this baking box, I’d had varying degrees of success. I’d used a big pizza stone in the oven, and I’d tried spraying my oven with water to generate steam, but my crust usually came out thicker than I like it. The box gives me a degree of control that I can’t get otherwise. When I bake my baguettes for a longer time with the lid on and a shorter time with the lid off, the crust is thinner, the way I like it. And using ice cubes for time-delayed steam generation works like a charm!”
